Congregation Agudas Achim Anshei Sfard

This Shabbat, January 2nd, there will be a kiddush luncheon following morning services.  There will be both meat and vegetarian cholent, as well as other good food, including potato and noodle kugel, fish and various salads!  There will also be learning led by Nechama Cheses. 

Please come and join us for this community meal.  The lunch will be followed by Mincha.

The event is the AMIT New England Tribute Dinner, held this year at Congregation Shaarei Tefillah. 

The keynote speaker will be Yair Alkali, an IDF Commander and AMIT Alumnus.

Sukkah 2In the morning, it looked like our Sukkah Hop might just be a Sukkah Sop, but Hashem was with us and the weather cooperated.  It was cold but dry as families came out to celebrate and visit the sukkot of our very gracious hosts: 

Felice and Mark Whittum, 
Jacob and Ramteen Missaghi, 
Anna Steingart and Misha Rubnich,
and Rabbi and Susan Weinberg.  

The children enjoyed a fun program run by Nathan Lesser and Elazar Cramer. 

Thank you to our hosts, our teens, and all who showed up to make it a success!

BleichHoward TzviThe Rabbinic Search Committee has received six applications for the position of Rabbi at the Adams Street Shul.  After evaluation of submitted resumes and other documents, the committee has notified three applicants that their candidacy is no longer under consideration.  We continue to actively encourage additional applications.

The Committee plans to interview, either in person or by telephone, each applicant that looks promising on paper.  We hope to identify a core group of outstanding
