Superbowl XLII: Giants 17, Patriots 14

Last Shabbos I poked fun at the New York faithful in anticipation of a Perfect Patriot Season, a 19-and-0, history-defining season.

Yesterday I was treated to a dose of ipecac syrup!

The disappointment will linger for a long time.Cry

Hats off to the Giants for pulling off one of the most improbable wins in sports history.  The pass-rush defense was tenacious and Tom Terrific never had enough time to settle into a rhythm.  Lots of missed opportunities to end the game with a win.

Kudos to the NY Giants.
